Abstract:
The main objective of this paper is to show the total energy inputs in controlled agriculture as a function of its components under different conditions located in Iguala, Mexico. The strong differences of heat capacity between dry air and vapor makes feasible to storage a significant amount of energy as temperature increases. Since rational knowledge of physical laws and of the technological limitations of energy storage requires knowing the effect of air temperature and humidity on heat storage capacity, the effect of air temperature & humidity on air enthalpy is presented with: the temperature & humidity diagram and Mollier & Carrier diagrams. As a result, decisions to handle an intensive agricultural system inside the ideal levels of production are suggested.
