| Abstract:
Miyun County was a main chestnut plantation in Beijing, China. The annual production of Miyun chestnuts was 12,067.9 tons in 2007, making up 54.1% of the total production in Beijing. The study summarized the characters of location, environment, chestnut distribution, nut quality and chestnut development in Miyun, considered problems in current chestnut industry development and put forward some suggestions to promote the sustainable development of chestnut industry and accelerate diversification of chestnut economy. | |
