Abstract:
Ampelography is a kind of scientific branch which is engaged in differentiation and identification of grapevine varieties and hybrids.
As varietal confusion is continuously occuring, the development of an identification procedure is increasing.
Today we always can successfully use the easiest way, using morphological characteristics.
The varieties and hybrids are descripting acording Czech descriptor for genus Vitis.
Over two years eight interspecific varieties and hybrids were described: Mi-5-26, Mi-5-50, Mi-5-70, Mi-5-76, Mi-5-100, Mi-5-106,Mi-5-114 – these hybrids originated from crossing Merlan x Fratava, and varieties Seibel 13 666.
Interspecific varieties and hybrids were described using following morphological characteristics – young shoots, mature leaf and cluster.
Based statistical analysis was applied to these ampelographic notations and fylometric measurements.
Then a simple discriminating key of the leaves characteristics was developed.
Also it includes a short characterization of wine based upon some interspecific varieties.
