Abstract:
Significant yield increases for most plant species are observed with CO2 enrichment.
Greatest response to CO2 appears to occur when irradiance levels are high.
Higher photosynthetic rates result when temperature and CO2 concentration are increased with increasing irradiance.
While total dry matter accumulation increases under these conditions, horticultural quality or yield does not necessarily increase.
