Abstract:
This study aimed to clarify the combined effect of N-Fertilization (0,300 and 450 kg/fed.) ammonium sulphate (20% N) and each of the concentrations of gibberellin (0, 10, 100 and 250 ppm), ethephon (0,1, 10 and 100 ppm), cycocel (0,50, 500 and 2500 ppm) and B-9 (0,50, 500 and 2500 ppm) on the growth, flowering, oil yield and chamazulene percentage of chamomile plants.

It could be concluded that the combination between the lower level of N-fertilization at 300 kg/fed. and the lower concentrations of each of gibberellin (10–100 ppm) ethephon 1–10 ppm), cycocel (50–500 ppm)and B-9 (50–500 ppm) were the most effective treatments for the growth, yield of flower heads and oil as well as chamazulene percentage in the oil of chamomile plants.
