| Abstract:
With the large number of agricultural and horticultural crop and livestock enterprises and their variations, the problem of updating by hand, especially in a period of inflation has become insuperable. A computer program has been developed which permits regular updating of unit costs and market prices, whilst physical data remain more or less constant. This system is now the major source of Gross Margin data in England and Wales, the area served by the Agricultural Development and Advisory Service (ADAS). | |
