| Abstract:
The influence of the European Community's tariff system on orange and mandarin prices is analyzed both theoretically and empirically. Empirical estimates confirm a priori expectations that the preference price system has not had a measurable impact on mandarin prices but has had a significant impact on orange prices. | |
