| Abstract:
In previous papers, we related the isolation and identification of several indolalkaloids from the root-bark of S. gossweileri: alstonine, a well known anhydronium base, dolichantoside, a new indol-glucoalkaloid and diploceline, a new quaternary alkaloid. From a second sample of the same plant, we isolated, besides the previously isolated compounds, three new alkaloids. The structure elucidation and the stereochemistry of these alkaloids are now discussed. | |
