Abstract:
The authors show that the yield, chemical composition and therapeutic activity (antibiotic power) of the essential oil of the mountain savory (Satureia montana L. : Labiatae) are not altered when this plant is put under cultivation.
Consequently, this medicinal plant keeps its therapeutic value when cultivated.
