IMPACT OF IRRIGATION MODERN TECHNOLOGY ON FRUCTIFICATION PROCESS OF APRICOT TREES

Abstract:
In the present paper, we expose data concerning the impact of the modern technology of irrigation on the fructification process of apricot. The experiment lasted three years and was carried out on the territory of the Fruit Research and Development Station, Constanta, situated in South Dobrogea. This is one of the droughty areas of Romania. The apricot tree is an assortment that succeeds in droughty conditions. Irrigation is necessary to obtain big and invariable productions year by year. The localized irrigation is the watering method that is extended very much thanks to its advantages. Within the framework of the experiment, through application modern technology of irrigation big productions are obtained in all watering variants as against the non-watering variant.
