| Abstract:
Chestnut blight, caused by Cryphonectria parasitica Murr. Barr is the most serious disease of Castanea sativa Mill. in Turkey on which several studies related with the biological control were conducted. The paper discusses and comments on the results of these investigations carried-out in Turkey since 1996, trying to formulate a better and more effective control of this destructive disease. | |
