Abstract:
Four native wild groundcovers, including Duchesnea indica, Ranunculus repens, Solanum septemlobum and Dendranthema lavandulifolium var.seticuspe were studied in the present research.
Following the introduction, the characteristics of their growth and development have been observed and recorded, and in order to estimate the potential value of application in Beijing landscape, the drought-resistance ability was studied.
The results showed that the drought-resistance of the 4 plants increased in an order of Solanum septemlobum, Dendranthema lavandulifolium var. seticuspe, D. indica and finally Ranunculus repens.
