| Abstract:
SADH treatments of eight apple cultivars induced differences in catalase activity and isoperoxidase spectrum during growing season. Reduced catalase activity and qualitative changes in isoperoxidase spectrum were associated with reduced vegetative growth and enhanced fruit bud formation. The winter hardiness of cultivars which reacted strongly to SADH treatments was improved. | |
