STUDIES ON ABSCISIC ACID IN FRUIT OF PEAR

Abstract:
The ripe fruit of pear cv. Olivier de Serres contained 600 μg abscisic acid/kg fresh weight. This concentration is higher than that in any other temperate fruit so far investigated.
