In experiments over 5 years, GA3 significantly increased fruit set of the pear cv. Passe Crassane after spring frost damage, under conditions when natural parthenocarpy was low. 12 ppm applied 48 hours after frost damage gave the best results and this treatment did not inhibit flower initiation. | |
