| Abstract:
Eight pomological properties in 10 selected clones of ‘Oblacinska’ sour cherry (Prunus cerasus L.) on two rootstocks (‘Oblacinska’ shoot cuttings and P. mahaleb L. seedlings) were studied. The clones differed significantly in yield, fruit weight, stone weight, % flesh and invert sugars content but not in soluble solids content, total sugars or total acids. Clone D8 had the highest yield, but D4 had the largest fruit and stone weights. Rootstocks significantly influenced yield, fruit weight, stone weight and sugar content of fruit, with the best results on mahaleb. | |
