DYNAMICS OF ENDOGENOUS POLYAMINES IN SEEDLING TREES OF PYRUS USSURIENSIS MAXIM. × P. BRETSCHNEIDERI REHD.

Keywords:   phase change, polyamines, Pyrus
Abstract:
The endogenous polyamine contents were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively in leaves and phloem of pear seedling trees ('Jingbai' × 'Ya Pear') by high performance liquid chromatography. The putrescine concentration peaked at the node nos. 86-90. And the ratio of putrescine/spermidine+spermine was exceeded 1 in samples taken from the nodes higher than the node nos. 86-90. The results implicated that the node nos. 81-85 would be an important physiological transition point of interspecific hybrid seedling trees in Pyrus.
