CALCULATION OF LABOUR TIME REQUIREMENT FOR PRODUCTION METHODS WITH REGARD TO GIVEN CONDITIONS IN DIFFERENT HORTICULTURAL ENTERPRISES WITH HELP OF THE TIME FORMULAE METHOD

Author:   G. Stoffert
Abstract:
Labour time requirements for the production of plants in horticulture defied untill to-day all exact calculation. Labour records are to global and inaccurate. Therefore time studies were made and time-bricks in different sizes now are disposable for horticultural works

As working-conditions and all other influences for each time-brick is known, each one is reproducible for all purposes. To calculate the labour time requirement for a special production method under real conditions in a given enterprise, the time formulae method is developed. Every specific condition in a horticultural enterprise by this method is taken into account. Each modification in the production methods now can be calculated exactly

A demonstration of the time formulae method is given by calculation of some production methods for Petunia in several horticultural enterprises
