| Abstract:
This review provides the latest progress of studies on gutta-percha produced from Eucommia ulmoides Oliv., including characteristics and regularities of Gutta-percha formation and accumulation, variations of gutta-percha concentration within colonies and individuals, superior clone selections for high-yield gum, orchard-mode for Eucommia planting, tending technologies for high-yield gutta-percha, and studies on macromolecular materials (polymer) of gutta-percha. The foreground for developing new materials from gutta-percha was also discussed. | |
