Authors:   M. Nishiyama, K. Kanahama, Y. Ebihara
Keywords:   Fragaria x ananassa, flower bud initiation, high temperature, reproductive growth, vegetative growth
Abstract:
Four day-neutral strawberry plant cultivars, ‘Brighton’, ‘Aptos’, ‘Hecker’ and ‘Selva’ were grown at high-temperature conditions of 30/25°C. The critical photoperiods for inflorescence production were found to be 15 and 24 hr in ‘Brighton’, 13 and 14 hr in ‘Aptos’ and ‘Selva’ and 12 and 13 hr in ‘Hecker’.
