| Abstract:
The rapid increase of the costs of energy as well as the constant rise of labour costs have emphasized the need of making optimal use of the greenhouse area. Various types of movable benches used for the production of pot-plants are described, they allow for a 30 % higher efficiency of the greenhouse area. Finally the perspectives of soil-less cultures, gantry-systems and multi layer-cropping are discussed. | |
