Keywords:   Tillage, fertilizers, yield and yield attributing characters
Abstract:
To study the effect of tillage and fertilizer on the growth and yield of summer mungbean, an experiment was conducted during 2005-06 at Agricultural Research Station, Sriganganagar. Tillage practice gave significantly higher seed yield (944 kg/ ha) over no tillage (838.5 kg/ha). Application of fertilizer increased the mungbean yield (956 kg/ha) significantly over no use of fertilizer (813 kg/ha). However, effect of different doses of fertilizer was non-significant.
