| Abstract:
Seven improved cultivars of loquat (‘Senweizaosheng’, ‘Jiefangzhong’, ‘Taicheng No.4’, ‘Zaozhong No.6’, ‘Xiangzhong No.11’, ‘Dawuxing’ and ‘Longquan No.1’ were introduced to the Panxi region, Sichuan Province of China. Evaluations were made on phenological periods, growth, fruiting characteristics, environmental adaptability, resistance to stresses, and fruit quality (soluble solid, sugars, acids, Vitamin C) to determine their suitability for cultivation. ‘Dawuxing’, ‘Zaochong No.6’, ‘Taicheng No.4’ and ‘Longquan No.1’ were shown to be suitable cultivars for Panxi. | |
