Abstract:
Our mutation trials during the fifties resulted in the development of the so-called 'Isolation method'. With its help we could registrate the induced variation in some apple varieties too.
In this report, some of the more pronounced variants (mutants) are presented to demonstrate, that mutation trials are a helpful method to produce basic material for intravarietal selection.
