Abstract:
Nicotiana glauca plants were subjected to different irrigation levels.
The highest weight of the leaves was with irrigation every 40 days and the least was with irrigation every 10 days.
The alkaloids percentage in the leaves decreased when the plants were irrigated once every 10 days.
On the other hand, the alkaloid content was much higher with the 30 or 40 days irrigation intervals.
The highest rutin percentage was found with the shorter irrigation intervals.
