Abstract:
Fourteen camomile varieties were cultivated at two locations in Germany (F.R.) and tested for their morphological and chemical properties.
The spectrum reached from wild populations with small flower heads to new tetraploidal cultivars with big ones.
Different genetically fixed compositions of the essential oil could be found as well.
