Abstract:
The increasing demands concerning speed and frequency, and the view to economy on human work urge for the elaboration of new procedures in the standard of value with drugs containing alkaloids and other active agents.
The two basic principles of the method developed by the author are these:
- It is avoided that the compound to be measured be carried into reaction.
- The activity of preparation and control of the volumetric solution is left out; for the measurement of compounds to be determined the UV electron spectroscopy is used.
In the case of drugs containing alkaloids the semi-automatic apparatus with phase-changer of Lörincz-Szász type (Ph.
Hung.
VI.) did a good service.
