Abstract:
Three potato cultivars (Marfona, Agria and Draga) were evaluated in a split block design in 3 replicates. Stress treatments were arranged at horizontal and cultivars at vertical plots. After 50% flowering till end of flowering stress treatment was applied. Every other week and in end of growth period, stem dry weight was measured. Anova showed that any stress might decrease stem dry weight in relative to control. In stress levels differences in stem dry weight was recovered. Stem number decreasing in cultivars in mild stress was also recovered. In spite of decreasing yield, there was no difference in tuber number at stress levels. In Agria stem dry weight in mid season was faster than other cultivars. Agria showed highest root dry weight and stem length. Draga showed an end-season recovery and its stem dry weight was bigger than others where it had the biggest main stem number in early-season but showed an acute decrease and its difference with others was non-significant at end-season.
