Abstract:
Seeds of Capparis spinosa were germinated successfully in vitro for 6 weeks.
The seedlings were cut into pieces and propagated on medium containing 4 mg/L kinetin.
Significant difference was found between the seed originated clones in the propagation ability.
For further proliferation different concentration of kinetin were used and the medium that contained 4 mg/L kinetin proved to be the best.
On the medium that contained 1 mg/L kinetin a good rooting was found as well.
