Abstract:
The content of phospholipids of soluble nuclear fraction and nuclear membrane from wheat (Triticum aestivum L. ‘Voskehask’) seedlings was studied. The differences in the content of particular phospholipids intact nuclei subfractions from 3–day seedlings were shown. Seeds treated with Gibberellic Acid resulted in the redistribution of phospholipids within each nuclear subfractions. A functional role of structural changes in the nuclear membrane during germination due to this phospholipids redistribution is discussed. Obtained data evidence about different sensitivity of nuclear subfraction to the Gibberellic Acid processing. It is supposed that such rearrangements change nuclear membrane permeability and its surface charge.
