| Abstract:
This paper reports developments at the Institute of Agricultural Engineering in developing new mulch laying techniques. The fully mechanised mulch system uses narrow bands of polythene to cover individual rows. A tractor-mounted hydraulically driven implement has been developed by the Institute to remove the plastic strips from the crop. | |
