| Abstract:
The nectarine breeding programme began at the Fruit Research Station Constanta in 1971. One of the main objectives was to obtain very early or early ripening genotypes. Four cultivars named ‘Romaner 2’, ‘Delta’, ‘Cora’ and ‘Costin’ were licensed. These cultivars are the earliest in the Romanian nectarine assortment. | |
