| Abstract:
From 1983 to 2004, the phenology of different varieties, hybrids and selections of ornamental peach was studied at the Fruit Research Station, Constanta and at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Bucharest. In 1994 and 1996, the best ornamental peach hybrids and selections were propagated and evaluated under cultivation at Constanta and Bucharest. In 2002, four new ornamental standard peach varieties were selected: ‘Purpuriu’, ‘Alizeu’, ‘Zefir’ and ‘Giuvaer’. | |
