Abstract:
Different N, P and K levels and ratios were used in carnation fertilization.
According to the results of soil tests, nutrient levels were kept at the experimental values through fertilization.
The N and K levels remained the same throughout the year or changed according to the season.
The P level was, in all experiments, the same.
According to the experimental results the following levels are recommended for substrate consisting of 1 part of clay and 2 parts of peat by volume: in spring - 20 – 30 mg of N, 25 mg of P and 75 – 100 mg of K in 100 g of soil; in summer - 50 mg of N, 25 mg of P and 40 mg of K; in autumn - 20 mg of N, 25 mg of P and 75 – 100 mg of K; in winter - 10 – 15 mg of N, 25 mg of P and 100 – 110 mg of K.
