|
| Author: | L. E. Carrier |
Abstract:
A summary of eight years' efforts involving eight to ten generations of selective breeding of commercial types of carnations for soil-borne disease resistance.
Natural selection in highly contaminated conditions of inbred resistant progeny has produced families which can be recrossed to re-establish hybrid vigor and commercial quality.
