| Abstract:
Predbaikalia is a new geographic region for apricot growing. There are seedlings of Khabarovsk varieties, which grow only in some microclimatic conditions around Irkutsk, where gardeners have their gardens. At the Irkutsk Botanic Garden there is a unique collection of nome species, varieties and seedlings of apricots. Comparison and investigation of some biological characteristics of the apricot populations were conducted in order to select best plants for propagation. | |
