| Abstract:
Five topics are presented: (i) an introduction to Chinese apricot germplasm resources, (ii) main regions of apricots in China, (iii) original species and varieties in China, (iv) local varieties and forms and (v) recommended cultivars for commercial growing. Eight species and their varieties are introduced in part 3 “original species and varieties in China”. The number of local varieties distributed in 7 regions of china is given in part 4 “local varieties and forms”. Ten cultivars for fresh market and processing and three cultivars for kernel consuming are mentioned in the part 5 “recommended cultivars for commercial growing”. | |
