Abstract:
In the SCM concept the relationships among actors in the chain must first be understood before making any intervention. To share our experiences, three systems for agri-product processing: mango puree at Cirebon in West Java; the semi manual production of single strength citrus juice in Nabire, Papua; and the handling and processing of citrus at Sambas, West Kalimantan have been analyzed in this paper. Results of the analyses demonstrated that Cirebon was at early Stage Four, Nabire at the end of Stage One, and West Kalimantan at early Stage Two. The pattern of collaboration indicated that at Cirebon, the system was an operational-collaboration system (OCS) with a strong government role; at Nabire, a general trade system (GTS) was observed; and at Sambas an operational-collaboration system (OCS) with a strong private sector.
