Abstract:
Gerbera jamesonii is an Asteraceae.
They are cultivated as pot plant or cut flower.
In the last case, the crop may extend six or seven years, but commercially it is not recommended to grow them beyond three years, because of the reduction of yield and quality (Mascarini, 1998).;br:
