Abstract:
The results of leaf petiole analysis have revealed that the range of various nutrients present were as N (1.18-1.81%), P (0.95-1.40%), K (1.98-2.52%), Ca (1.32-1.78%) and Mg (1.04-1.81%). These nutrient levels were found to be higher in comparison to leaf petiole nutrient standards marked for higher yields (10-12 tonnes/acre). Moreover, yield showed a significant negative correlation with the increased petiole nutrients level particularly with N, P, K, Ca and Mg suggesting over- fertilization of the vineyards and thus resulted for low yield.
Application of manures and fertilizers in case of vineyard No.
III, may be adopted till the actual recommendation of nutritional trials are made.
