A special inventary has enabled us to find 428 pear cvrs. in Italy, while another 285 cvrs, although quoted by pomological literature in the past, have not yet been traced. A work scheme, based essentially on international co-operation, in order to safeguard and utilize pear germplasm, is illustrated. | |
