| Abstract:
Seed gliadin of three bulb crops, including tuber onion, welsh onion and onion, was studied with improved polyacrymide gel electrophoresis (PAGE). The results showed that the electrophoresis band patterns of three bulb crops are distinct from each other. The band differences between dormant and non-dormant onion cultivars lie on Rf0.39 and Rf0.10 bands, and the welsh onion and onion are closer phytogenetically. | |
