Abstract:
ILAR-virus infected Montmorency cherry seeds were gained from healthy mother trees fertilized by Prunus necrotic ring spot virus infected pollen and, respectively, from PNRSV infected mothertrees fertilized by healthy pollen.
The effect of mother tree infection was higher.
Different parts of infected seeds were tested for virus infection, cotyledons found to be heavily infected whereas embryos without cotyledons proved to be virusfree in each case.
