Abstract:
The leaves diagnosis standards will be established for the first time for the Artichoke cv. Blanca de Tudela in the South-east area of Spain, in the provinces of Alicante and Murcia, under the framework of the normality ranks and the system known by DRIS (Diagnosis and Recommendation Integrated System). Methodologically, some high productive farms were researched. As a matter of fact, there were three, with large extensions for the cultivation under study, and with good cultivation techniques, perfectly controlled, belonging to the same, harvest and export very important company in the field. Among the aforementioned farms, with almost 300 ha cultivation, the three best plots were selected for the collection of samples, every fifteen days for three months in a row, and for a total of 108 samples. From the analitical results of these samples, the DRIS norms were developed for the elements N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Zn, Fe, Cu, Mn and for all their mutual relations, through the respective statistic study. A Excell computer program was developed to obtain the indexes for the aforementioned methodology and interpretation through a fast, easy and graphical way.
