Authors:   A. Carlucci, A. Caponero, G.M. Vena, L. Catalano, F. Lops, S. Frisullo
Keywords:   Prunus armeniaca, gummosis disease, Canker, fruit stones
Abstract:
The paper reports the results of research aimed at evaluating the susceptibility to Eutypa armeniacae, the causal agent of "fungal gummosis", of combinations of 12 apricot cultivars and 4 rootstocks. E. armeniacae proved to be a pathogen on all the tested combinations of cultivars and rootstocks, although it was more virulent on Prunus cerasifera L. than on Prunus persica L. rootstocks.
