Abstract:
Digital images have been used to a host of scientific and research fields in worldwide application.
In Post-harvest agriculture, they can be got from X-ray equipments to produce high quality images for detection of internal disorders in mangoes.
In this work, a group of digital images from mangoes cv.
Tommy Atkins, stage physiologically mature, were obtained from an X ray-molybdenum target.
After digital processing by filtering and pseudo colours technique, internal regions of the fruit can be discriminate in different level of radiological density.
A group of digital images are presented when are demonstrated advantages of the method as a simple noninvasive quality control test for mangoes in packinghouses.
