| Abstract:
Commercially available plugs of six bedding plants were treated with foliar sprays of flurprimidol (mg.L-1): at 10, 20, 40, 80, 120, 160, 240, or 320; paclobutrazol at 30; uniconazole at 5; and a control. Flurprimidol concentrations of 40 to 80 mg.L-1 provided plant height and diameter control of ageratum, celosia, coleus, and salvia. Flurprimidol is extremely active on begonia and vinca and due to stunted growth, concentrations <10 mg.L-1 may be needed. | |
