DISTRIBUTION OF DRY MATTER AND ALPHA-AMYLASE IN HEADS OF RED CABBAGE |

| Abstract:
The investigation showed that there was a big difference in per cent dry matter and concentration of  -amylase in the apex (or the upper half) and basal part of the single leaves in heads of red cabbage.
The concentration of amylase was greatest in the apex of the outer leaves of the heads.
