| Abstract:
The structure of Ukraine's horticultural monitoring network and the amount of registered information are described. All the Ukrainian regions are divided into 4 groups according to their temperature conditions. The state statistical data on yield capacities of apple, pear and stone fruits are generalized for a 5-year period (1997–2001) and compared with monitoring data for different regions. Preliminary information is presented concerning well-adapted and prospective cultivars. Some possibilities of raising the orchard productivity are discussed. | |
