ISHS Acta Horticulturae 616: I International Symposium on Acclimatization and Establishment of Micropropagated Plants

REPRODUCTIVE, VEGETATIVE AND AGRONOMIC BEHAVIOR OF THE MICROPROPAGATED OLIVE CV. MAURINO

Authors:   A. Leva, R. Muleo, R. Petruccelli
Keywords:   Olea europaea, micropropagation, morphological stability, productivity
Abstract:
Micropropagated olive plants were tested in field to assess their phenotypic behavior. No genetic and morphological differences were detected between micropropagated plants and plants propagated by cuttings. The in vitro protocol that we used for the multiplication of the olive explants insures genetic fidelity and productive potential of the plants.
